Child of God

You are already perfect — God doesn't make mistakes.

What if the part of you you've been trying so hard to fix isn't broken?

What if the hurt is real, the scars are real, the things that have happened to you are real—and none of them are you?

Child of God begins with a different possibility: At your core, you are already whole. Already beautiful. Already worthy of love. Not because you've healed enough, believed enough, forgiven enough, prayed enough, or finally become the person you were supposed to be.

Because God made you.

This is not a book about finding the right guru, following someone else's path, or learning how to repair your broken inner child. It's an invitation to question the idea that the child within you was ever broken in the first place.

Instead, Isak Griffiths explores faith, pain, truth, love, spiritual youth, and the slow work of clearing away what life piles on us so we can rediscover the curious, creative, hopeful, gloriously alive kid underneath.

You don't have to arrive with certainty.

You don't even have to be certain you believe.

Sometimes a beginning is simply wanting to believe there might be something more.

You are already perfect. You are already loved. Maybe it's okay to start with being enough.
